The boys, who could not swim, managed bo get out the vdndows of the car and onto tne hood as the car slowly sank, Edward Whaley, 13, who live at Lake Sequoyah, was afloat in a boat and seeing the boys sit ting on the hood, he drifted down* Acting not a bit surprised at their rather unusu al boat, he said, ”Hop in boys, and 1*11 take you to shore, The car, which completely submerged in 19 feet of water, was pulled out of the lake about 8:00 p,m, and was a total loss* 1-foore received minor head injuries but the two boys were not harmed by their novel ex- perience.
