Episcopal Silver Tea Today
The annual Silver Tea, sponsored by
the Churchwomen of the Church of the In
carnation, will be held this afternoon,
Thursday, August 3rd, from 4. -until 6, at
the home of Colonel and Mrs. James H«
Howe in Horse Cove. The public is most
cordially invited*
On his visit here last Sunday, Bis
hop Henry preached at both the 9 and 11
o’clock services, and confirmed severeilt
The vestry of the parish will meet
on Monday evening at 7:30 in the Fellow
ship H^l of the Church,
Sunday services at the Episcopal
Church are at 8, 9, and 11 a*m, Vfeekday
services are on Tuesdays at 8 a*m* and

Dean of Salem College of Music, Winston-
Salem, North Carolina,
A special feature of the workshop,
whose theme will be sharing problems in
piano teaching and presenting new ideas
and techniques, will be recitals by Ruth
Slenczynska and piano-duo, Luboshutz and
Nemenoff,

him on his Ceylon tea plantation. Once
there he becomes an arrogant^ impossible
person and the young bride turns for
comfort to Andrews^ the handsome Ameri
can foreman of the plantation*

an unusual and excitement charged back
ground climaxed by a breathtaking stam
pede of maddened elephants—-one of the
all time great scenes in movie-making
