EPISCOPAL EVENTS Mrs, Richard R. Worley, of Atlanta and Highlands, was guest soloist last Sun day at the Church of the Incarnation, ren dering "How Beautiful Upon the Mountains,” by Harker, as the offertory solo. The Rev. J, Saxton Wolfe, Jr., of St. Hilary's Church in Fort Myers, Florida, was guest speaker. Sunday services at the Church of the Incarnation are at 8:00, 9*30 and 11:00 a.m.; there is always more room in the church at the 9:30 service. Parking is available on Sunday mornings in the park ing lot of Potts Market, across the street from the church. Weekday services are offered on Tues days at 8 a.m. and on Thursdays at 10 a.m. The latter service is followed by a coffee break and discussion group. Friends of the congregation are asked to remember the Annual Re-Sale, scheduled for early October. Articles intended for this sale may be brought at. any time to the office of Magruder & 0*Brien, or will be picked up at request. GARDEN CLUB NEWS The Highlands Garden Club will meet this afternoon (Thursday) at 2:30 at High Hampton Inn, The guest speaker will be Mr. Pitkin, who will talk on the design ing and planning of small gardens. It will be an open meeting, and members may invite guests. * :|e Ik it( BREVARD CONCERTS JULY 20-22 Leonard Pennario, recently returned from a triumphant tour of Europe, will make two solo appearances at the Brevard Music Center this week-end. The celebrated pianist, among the na tion’s t^ five in classical record sales, will play Bartok*s Piano Concerto No. 3 Friday evening and Schiimann's Piano Con certo in A Minor Sunday afternoon. A professional concertist since he was 12 and now in his middle thirties, Pennario has played with most of Americans major symphonies, including the New York Philharmonic, the Boston Symphony, Phila delphia, Chicago, and St. Louis. In the South He has played with the Atlanta Sym phony, New Orleans, Dallas, and Houston. The Music Center concert week-end also provide an opportunity for another fine young artist under a grant of the Atlanta Music Club in honor of Maestro Marvin Mc«f Donald.
