D. Calloway and six children of Jasper, Alabama; Mr, and Mrs. James Potts and four children of Highlands; Mr. and Mrs, James Keener and two children of Highlands; Mr. and Mrs. Calvin Anderson of Highlands; Miss Ella Crane of Highlands; and Mr. and Mrs. A. Dickson MUSIC DIRECTOR BREVARD GONGERT SUCCESSFUL The Brevard Music Center Concert last Thursday evening was a tremendous success. The house was full of gracious listeners and Dr. Pfohl and the Orchestra were most appreciative of the response of the Highlands people. **We were delighted with our audience's response," stated one of the musicians. The soloists for the evening were Miss Beverly Wolff, Mezzo-Soprano, who sang four n\imbers and two encores; and Mr, Edward Vito, Harpist, who played two numbers and two encores. The Brevard Music Center Orchestra will return to Highlands on Monday, August 20th, The Concert, featuring Irene Calla way, Lyric Soprano and Peter Harrower, Bass-Baritone, will be at 8:15 at the Highlands High School Auditorium. An outstanding performance, as well as an eager audience, is anticipated. TO APPEAR ON TELEVISION Mr, Dick Rawls and Mr. Louis Osteen will appear on Monty DuPuy^s "Telescope” next Tuesday (July 31) afternoon at 1:^0 for the purpose of prcanoting the Highlands Square Dance Festival (August 2). They hope to have a square dance team to appear with them on the show, but if it is impos sible to get one at that time, Mr, Rawls and Mr. Osteen will represent Highlands by their appearance in any event.
