THE GALAX MS (BREVARD CONCERTS CON*D FROM PAGE 7) Dr. Pfhol will conduct the Transyl vania Symphony Saturday evening in Karl Kroeger*s "Canticle of Praise'* and the BMC Symphony Sunday afternoon in Dvorak’s "Carnival Overture," Giannini*s "Hoedown" from "The Harvest," Delius* "Over the Hills and Far Away" and Stravinsky's Suite from the "Firebird," A special Saturday afternoon con cert as part of Parents* Week-end will feature one-hour programs by the Tran sylvania Concert Band, conducted by Rob ert Waggoner of Atlanta; Hilltopper Sym phony Orchestra, conducted by Emil Raab of the University of Alabama, and Hr, Johanos, and the Hilltopper Concert Band, conducted by Mr, Waggoner. The program will begin at 2:30. Concluding this week*s busy schedule will be a piano recital by Clemens Sand- resky. Dean of Salem College Music School, The recital will begin the second annual workshop for piano teachers.
