Ball this "ESCAPE FRCM ZAHRAIN” ’’Escape from Zahrain,” an exciting ad venture-thriller set in modern Arabia, will play at the GALAX THEATRE on Saturday, Aug ust 25th* The film, in Technicolor and Panavlsion, stars Yul Brynner as a dedica ted leader of rebel forces in a corrupt Arab state, and co-stars Sal Mineo and Jack Warden, with Madlyn Rhue. The suspenseful drama concerns Bryn ner* s release from captivity while await ing execution as a traitor, his release be ing engineered by Taiatical followers led by university student Sal Mineo, Mineo idolizes Brynner and joins forces with him and several of his fellow prisoners as they make their dash for freedom. To do so, they hijack and ambulance belonging to the oil refinery, kidnapping as hostage a com pany nurse, plas^d by lovely Miss Rhue, idio recently scored a hit as the ingenue in "A Majority of One,” Jack Warden will be seen as a tough American embezzler, former employee of the refinery, and one of the escapees, A sadis tic killer (Tony Caruso) and a gentle mur derer (Jay Novello) make up the oddly as sorted group, whose lives depend upon their successful flight. The film deals with their adventures as they cross desert and mountains, pursued by land and air, beset by priv-ations, acci dents, sandstorms, dissension and tragedy.
