Under the direction of Mr* Fred iMlen, the play provided thorough enjoyment throughout. The set itself was especially a work of art and beauty. Certainly Mr. Allen «out-did” himself in this piece of work* Morton Lewis touched the ^tickle box'* of everyone in his portrayal of Sakini. His performance was excellent, and his ■witty sayings will remain in everyone*s mind for future enjoymeht. Richard Melvin did a fine job as Cap tain Plsby. Worthy (^and Patron, idll make an official visit to Highlands Chapter No. 284, OES, and East La Porte and Glenville Chapters at the Masonic Hall in Highlands on P^iday, August 24 at BsOO p.m« Presbyterian Young People Present New Hymnals Mr. Doyle Calloway, President of the Senior High-Pioneer Group of the Plrst Presbyterian Church of idghlands, pre sented a new Presbyterian hymnbook to the Pastor at the eleven o* clock worship ser vice of August 19th* In making the pre sentation, Mr* Calloway explained that the youth group had purchased thirty- five copies of The Hvrnnbook as a challenge gift to the church* An annonymous contri bution of one-hundred dollars for addi tional books was made in response to the young people*s challenge.
