It was pointed out last week by a sunw mer resident of Highlands, who does not own property in the Mirror Lake vicinity, that it was the general feeling that the com?- munity in general had not been asked to help build the new dam. This is not the impression that was meant to be given. The Mirror Lalce In5>rovement Association would like all the possible help from everyone in the Community, It is felt that the lake is one of the attributes of the Com munity, and that eveiyone should donate to this fund with a contribution, no matter how small. Naturally, the residents and property owners in the Mirror Lake section will take it upon themselves to donate the major portion of the money, along with the generous contributions made by the local merchants, but it is hoped that other peo ple outside of the Mirror Lake section will donate to this asset to the community.
