Concerto No. 8, A Minor, Opus 4-7" by Spohr.

Ranger La uni us Attends
RHODODENDRON FESTIVAL
Mr, Rufus Launius, Assistant Forest
Ranger here in Highlands attended the annual
Rhododendron Festival held on Roan Mountain
Saturday, Ranger Launius reported that
approximately 2,000 attended this 17th
annual event and that the rhododendron was
almost completely in full bloom that week
end, The Roan is the world*s largest na
tural display of rhododendron.

in three acts, EVERYBODY LOVES OPAL, The
HCT run will begin July lOth and continue
through the 13th,
Opal collects things—anything and
everything—and totes them home in her
little red wagon to a tumble down mansion
on the edge of the municipal dump* Into
her strange world come Gloria, Brandord,
and Solomon, three purveyors of bogus per
fume on the lam from the authorities and
they find Opal*s menage the perfect hide
out. They decide to provide Opal with
plenty of insurance and a rapid demise
leaving them as beneficiaries. Attempted
murder wouldnH seem to be funny but in
the capable hands of John Pactrick it is

HOSPITAL AUXILIARY TO MEET
There will be a short business meet
ing only of the Hospital Auxiliary on
Thursday, July 4th. The meeting will be
held in the Satulah Club room of the Hud
son Library at 1:30 p.m. All members
are urged to attend.
