THE SNOWS WILL COME

The flame azalea and the mcuntain
laurel have already burst forth with their
breathtaking beauty and their delicate
blossoms have wilted and fallen to the
ground. Now, the white rhododendron are
in bloom all around us. Their whiteness
add beauty and light to even the darkest
coves in the enchanted hills.
The rains which Cc^e almost daily keep
adding life-sustaining water to the entire
forest floor. The crystal clear streams
emerge from every cove and go cascading
down the hundreds of Waterfalls around us.
Truly there is beauty on every hand for

Archibald Rockwell Nall, 83, v^o
had been in declining health for some
time, was found dead in his home here
early Saturday morning. He was a member
of the Church of the Incarnation ih High
lands and was a retired civil engineer.
He had maintained a summer here for a
number of years,
Suirviving are the widow, Mrs. Lillian
Tyson Lukens Nall? two sons, Maj, John
R^ Nall, USAF (Ret.) of Hillsboro, Ore,
and William C* Nall of Smyrna, Ga,; two
daughters, Mrs* Frances Hume and Mrs,
Bertha Holichec of los Angeles, Calif,}
two stepsons, Pritchard Pearson of
Waterbiiry, Conn. and Howard Pearscn of
Milford, Conn,5 a sister. Miss Rebecca

For the first time in its 2^ year
history, the Highlands Community Theatre
is very happy to announce a hold-over.
The William* s play, PERIOD OF ADJUSTMENT,
starring Collin Wilcox (TO KILL A MOCKING
BIRD") and Geoffrey Horne (BRIDGE ON THE
RIVER Mil) was scheduled to run three
nights, July 23-25t but because of a
complete sell-out for each scheduled
night, business manager, Clyde Bolt, Jr,
has announced a hold-over for two more
performances, Friday and Saturday nights.
The cast is ccanpleted with Anthony and
