The Pioneer-Senior High young people
of the First Presbyterian Church will be
the guests of Mr. and Mrs, Donald MacGreg
or at a dinner Sunday evening. The Mac
Gregors have invited the PIF to their home
for an informal meal and fellowship begin
ning at six o* clock. The young people
will meet at the church at 5t45 to travel
together to the MacGregor home.

The Church of the Good Shepherd, the
beautif\il little white Episcopal Church
across the road from High Hampton Inn in
Cashiers, will have services at 8 a. m.
and 11 a. m. each Sunday throughout the
Summer months. On August 2ndj 9th, l6th,
and 30th, the visiting rector will be The
Rt, Rev, Robert R, Brown, Bishop of Arkan
sas. On August 23rd at 11 a, m. The Rt.
Rev, M. George Henry, Bishop of Western
North Carolina, will have his official
visitation. On September 6th and 13th,
the visiting rector will be The Rt. Rev.
John E. Hines, Bishop of Texas. A warm
welcome is extended to all visitors in the
area to attend services in the historic church.

time as tryout ground for a Broadw^
The world premiere of BACHELOR FURi'lISHED^
three plays by James Bridges, with Holly
wood cast Collin Wilcox, Geoffrey Home,
and Ralph Williams will be presented by
the Hi^ilands Community Theatre on August

Speaking for the three actors. High
lands* own Collin V/ilcox, who did her first
theatre work with Highlands Ccnanunity
Theatre, said, «Kiis is the best present
we can give Highlands Community Theatre
for its 2$th anniversary# Biis is more
exciting to us than anything we have done
in Hollywood, partly because we think Jim
Bridges* plays are the most brilliantly
written we have had the good fortune to
read, and because we like being a part of
cne of tho most important achievements in
Highlands# We feel very strongly that
there must always be a theatre here, and,”
