Afternoon Worship; 7:00 p.m., Methodist Youth Fellowship; 700 p.m. Church School Teachers meet at Franklin. Choir Practice is at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. CHURCH SCHOOL TEACHERS MEET There will be an important meeting of the Church School Teachers and officials at Franklin Methodist Church Sunday through Tuesday at 700-9*30 p*m. The new curri culum for Methodist children will be the subject under discussion. Parents are also invited for the opening session. OFFICIAL BOARD MEETS Notice is given of the regular monthly meeting of the Official Board on Wednesday, August 26 at 7s30 p.m. in the church par lor. DEDICATION OF PARSONAGE We are looking ahead to August 30 when the new parsonage will be dedicated. The dedication is set for 3s00 p.m. with Rev. Mark Q. Tuttle, District Superinten dent of the Waynesville District, as the speaker. HOLT COMMUNION The Sacrament of Holy Communion will be observed at the afternoon worship ser vice this Sunday, Let's have a good atten dance for this service. Our thanks go to Rev. PRESBYTERIAN NEWS PRESBITERIAN MEN TO HEAR KARL ANDERSON President Karl Anderson of Rabun Gap-Nachoochee School will be the guest speaker at the August meeting of the Presbyterian Men-of-the-Church Thursday, August 27th. Dr. Anderson is well known and held in great esteem ty people in the Highlands area because of his very excellent work at the nearby Nachooche© School* He has spoken to various civic and church groups in Highlands in the past. fhe Men*s meeting will begin at 6:30 p.m. with a cover dish style supper* President Paul Ifyerhoff has re-emphasized the fact that the invitation to attend extends to the men of the suimer church family as well as to the resident members# PASTOR TO ATTEI'ID STEV/ARDSHIP MEETING Pastor Dan McCall of the First Pres byterian ChTirch will take part in Ashe ville Presbytery*s annual Every Church Canvas Training Session.
