The (CON»D, P. 21) DEf/EY HOPPER DIES George Dewey Hopper, 62, died in C, J, Harris Community Hospital in Sylva Monday after an illness of several months. He was a carpenter and painter, and active in the work of Highlands Methodist Church where he was a steward and a mem ber of the official board, Mr. Hopper's first wife, Mrs. Evelyn Cleaveland Hopper, died in I96I, and in 1963 he married Mrs, Helen Holt Coffee, who survives. He was a son of the late Monroe Hopper, Surviving besides the widow are the mother , Mrs. Fannie Henderson Hopper; a daughter, Mrs, Morris Wilson; and two brothers, Clyde and Fred Hopper, all of (CON«D, PAGE 10) Hth YEAR OF PUBLICATION
