DEATH TAKES RUDOLPH JOSEF SON Mr* Rudolph Josefson, 70, of Franklin, N. 0., died Monday while being taken by am bulance to Asheville. Mr. Josefson was working at the Carmichael home here when he fell off the roof, fracturing his skull and breaking his neck» He was transferred from the Highlands-Cashiers Hospital to a neurosurgeon in Asheville, but died before he reached Asheville, His wife survives. Mr. Davis will play Liszt*s ”Danse Mac abre" (“Totentanz")* The Brevard Music Center Orchestra, conducted by Henry Jan- iec, idll play Brahms* "Fourth Symphony" and Beethoven*s “Leonore Overture No, 3«” On Saturday, August 14, at 2*30 and 8:15, the Festival Opera Theatre will perform Mozart*s ”Cosi fan tutte,” fea turing stars from the Metropolitan Opera Studio and directed by George Schick, Conductor and Music Consultant of the Metropolitan Opera, This appearance of the Festival Opera Theatre is made possi ble by a grant from the Martha Baird Rockefeller Fund for Mosic, Because of the special nature of this event, theie will be two performances, matinee and evening. The opera will be sung in Eng lish. On Sunday, August 15, at 3:30, ten or Brian Sullivan will head the list of singers to be featured in this year’s Music Festival# Mr* Sullivan will sing two Wagner arias.
