The new presi dent then introduced other club officers who will serve with him during the com ing year. They were: Bud Potts, Vice President and Treasurer; Fred Steward, Secretary; and directors, Wilton Cobb, Clarence Mitchell, Fred Stewart and Tom Allen. At the performance 'Riesday, they sang such hits as "Under the Boardwalk", "Up On the Roof", "This Ifegic Moment" and many others. The group went on stage at 10 p.m. when they had just returned from a concert at Western Carolina College where about 700 people attended the performance. Before and after their performance here, Buddy Tee and the Thrillers played. This band also backed them up when they were singing. It was a very enjoyable affair which was attended by about UOO people. There are five is sponsoring a picnic, Sunday, July 10th, at the Overton Chambers, from 3 until 6. Facilities for swimming are available, and those interested are asked to bring their own food-drinks will be provided. Part icipants are asked to meet in front of the Presbyterian Church at 2:30.
