The double wedding of MLss Mae Bry
son to IS?. Dennis Ivester and MLss Helen
Henry to Mr, Zane Talley took place at
7s30 p.m. Wednesday, July 3^ in the
Clear Creek Baptist Church, Miss Bryson
is the daughter of "Mr, and J^s. J. Law
rence Bryson of Highlands and Mr, Ivester
the son of Mrs, Melissa Ivester and the
late Milligan Ivester, HLss Henry is
the daughter of Mr. and I&*s, Eddie Henry,
Sr., and Jfr. Talley is the son of Mr.
Lambert Talley of Satolah, Georgia,
Miss Bryson was given in marriage
by her brother, Homer Bryson, and
I^ss Henry was given in marriage by her
father, Mr. Eddie Henry, Sr. The double
ring ceremony was performed by Reverend
Edgar Owens.
The church was beautifully decorated
in white rhododendron by ly&rs. M. M. Hop
per of Highlands,
Miss Henry was attired in a floor
length sleeveless gown of chiffon over
taffeta trimmed with sequins.
Miss Bryson wore a capped-sleeve
floor length goim of lace over taffeta.
Both girls wore elbow-length veils adorn
ed Td-th crowns of seed pearls. Each car
ried a bouquet of white orchids over a
white bible,

The 1968 Season at the Highlands
Community Theatre gets off to a zippy
start on Thursday, July 11, with ’’Bare
foot in the Park". This is a show that
has everything and should have you rock
ing in your seats with laughter.

"Barefoot in the Park" has been
generally acknowledged one of the fun
niest and one of the most successful
stage comedies of our times. Pbr at
least the first two years of its run in
New York, beginning October 23, 1963,
when it was greeted with an oven'Jhelming
critical acclaim,it drove audiences to
frantic efforts to get tickets to it
with an ardor unseen since the first
months of the fabulous run of "iVj^ Fair
lady",
"Barefoot in the Park" will be
