It was first presented at the Plymouth Theatre in New York, in 1965j under the direction of the now famous MLke Nichols. The leads were played by Walter Matthau and Art Carney. The Highlands Community Theatre is indeed happy to offer its Patrons and friends this unusual, rib-tickling, rol licking Comedy of tTJo divorced men run ning an impossible household without the help of their mueh missed wives. A week ly poker game adds a chance for some clever dialogue, and txiro British sisters are able to supply an unusual and unex pected solution. J&le actors twenty-five or older are still needed to take part in the Poker game. As an added inducement, they will be allotted to keep all winnings. Here is a chance to take an active part in a worthiirhile project, and have a good time doing it. Call the theatre, ^26-269^, for particulars, or better yet, come on up to see how the set is progressing, and you may not be able to resist that special something that permeates the air. "The Odd Couple" will open on August 8th and run through August 11. It may well prove the most popular show of the season. ANNUAL HUDSON LIBRARY SILVER TEA AUGUST 9TH The Annual Hudson Library Silver Tea will, be held on Hriday, August 9, from three until five o'clock in the afternoon at the home of 14*. and Idlers.
