Satulah Club's I^hite Elephant Table at
the Hospital Bazaar* Here they will
find new OTimers to whom they xirill bring
much joy and in doing so id. 11 bring much
m-o-n-e-y to the Hospital Bazaar which
x^ill be July 2^th, 9-5 and Saturday 9-12,

lem can be solved by gifts of charm and
distinction from the I-'Jhite Elephant Ta
ble. Here you will find etched, green
glass salad plates on which to serve the
coolest of summer salads. From St^eden
a handwoven table cloth and a dozen nap
kins, For that tall, distinguished gen
tleman, who could do with a bit of pam
pering, there is a 6 foot three, custom-
made cherry bed complete with box spring
and mattress. From the treasure chest
there are two embroidered and fringed
shawls, one of cream colored silk and
one of the sheerest, white wool, to
grace lady’s shoulders when she goes
to the Little Thea.tre or a very, special
party. Then there are two scatter rugs
to please the eye and make the room
look less bare...one American Persian
and one persian inspired. Great is the
variety of the white elephants the Sat
ulah Club has for you to choose from...
until the door opens at nine on Friday
morning not a WHITE ELEPH/il'IT will be
sold or even deftly slipped outside.
Ncutwie, Walk
On Wednesday, July 30, Mr. C. H.
Ekdahl will conduct a nature walk.
The walk is primarily adult-oriented
and will focus on botanical aspects of
the area, though other types of wild
life will be mentioned. J-ir. Ekdahl is
a field trip leader of the Halifax
River Audubon Society. He has stud
ied the Highlands area over a period
of many years and is very well ac
quainted with the native plants and
birds. All those interested should
meet at the Miiseumi the group mil
leave promptly at 8s30 a.m.
