County commission chairman Oscar Ledford said, "the board of commissioners appreciates the enthusiasm and turn out in this important vote. This certainly does assure the people of Macon County a modern courthouse in due time." Ledford said that not all of the $980,000 worth of bonds will be sold unless the money is needed.
