The station is located near the ball park and will be read by Ted Cnmkleton, The station was previously located on the Kristensen tract and read by Hrs• James Crane, The fire danger station will have a standard rain gauge, wind gauge and wet and dry bulb thermometers. From these instruments the wet and dry bulb temperature, wet bulb depression, rela tive humidity, fine fuel moisture, wind spped and direction, rainfall and fire spread index can be taken. Except in high fire danger the readings will be taken at IjOO p.m. EST daily. On high class fire days, readings may be necessary more often. September 1, the station will be . in operation making it possible for the Forest Service to make fire weather pre dictions locally, therefore giving bet ter protection for the Highlands area.
