The Children* s Choir under the
direction of i^s, ¥• F, Harris has com
pleted sewing of neif choir robes to be
dedicated during the morning worship on
Sunday, August 17* To celebrate the
completion of their robes and the pro
gress of their group, these young people
plan to enjoy a fun night at the church
on Saturday evening, August 16, begin
ning at 6 p.m* Members of the Admini
strative Board have been issued invita
tions for supper and games and singing
with these young people.
Ladies of the church C^JSCS) are
grateful for I^rs. Julia Lake Kellers-
berger who presented the program at their
monthly meeting this past Monday, August

The Bible Study Group on the Sermon
on the MDunt meets for the second session
this Thursday, August 21, at 900 a*m.
in the church fellowship hall. Any in
terested person, not currently register
ed, should contact the pastor prior to
this session.

News From Your Hospital
Every effort to secure the services
of another doctor not^ that Dr. Qglesby
is leaving Highlands is being made by
Your Hospital, interested individuals,
and others. Personal contacts are being
made, letters are being written asking
for help from doctors aware of the need
here, Fl^rsician placement bureaus are
being retained and just about every
avenue known that provides assistance
in this respect is being used. High
lands -Cashiers Communities offer a very
fine location for a General Practitioner.
Hospital facilities are unusual for an
area like this and altogether there are
many advantages to be offered the one
or more who come. It is not an easy
task that lies ahead of us..it is almost
true that everywhere doctors of all
kinds are being sought and so locating
the right one will not be done in a
minute or by just a phone call. It
would be nice if some definite word
could be published about this serious
matter but at this time it is impossible
to do this. Ifhen there is only one
doctor here to care for the area, it
behooves everyone to remember there is
only one and to act accordingly. Doc
tors are people..just like all of us.,
they get tired, they need sleep, they
must eat and occasionally they have to
rest..Soon the time when this is true
will be here...and it would then be
wonderful if everyone in this country
side would cooperate with Dr. Pate and
