"THE HAPPY ENDING" There are rules to married love, says screen Writer-Director Richard Brooks, which dictate to the partners what they can do and what they cannot, and where they can do it and where not which constitute one of the most inviolate of human codes. "Ask any married man or woman," he says. Brooks, a keen observer of the human scene, has given the matter a lot of thought. He has pondered it from many angles, and out of it has come his latest motion picture, "The Happy Ending" in Panavision and Technicolor which Unit ed Artists, entertainment subsidiary of the Transamerica Corporation brings to the screen of the Galax Theatre Sunday- Monday July 12-13. Brooks' concern with married love is the widely regarded in these days of changing morality. His top players are Jean Simmons, John Forsythe, Shirley Jones, Lloyd Bridges and Teresa Wright•
