»A WAIK IN THE SPRING RAIN"
Starring Anthoiiy Quinn and Ingrid
Bergman, the Stirling Silliphant-Guy Green
Production, "A Walk in the ^ing Rain"
Priday-Saturday, July 17-li? will be at
the Galax Theatre.
In "A Walk in the Spring Rain,"
Quinn plays an exuberant Tennessee
moiintain man attracted to the sopliistic-
ated, very urban woman played by LH,ss
Bergman.
Almost as elemental as his world of
nature, the Tennessean is prepared to
lose his way of life, as he does lose
his son, because he believes in the kind
of miracles which surround him each
burgeoning spring. The role, for Quinn,
is a triun^hant romantic departure from
ai^hing he has ever done before.
The Great Smoky I'fountains region is
among the most beautiful in America at
any season and, to some visitors and
most residents, the most beautiful in
America in the springtime. It was in
the springtime that location filming took
place here for a ’¥alk in the Spring Rain."
Caught by the color cameras are
dogwood blossoms, redbud trees in full
flower, flaming azaleas, service berries
and laurel peonies and Princess trees.
Irfhen it rains, it rains on all alike.
