run at Highlands Community Theatre
TONIGHTi Agatha Christie's thriller
begins a spine-tingling run of six per
formances tonight at the Highlands Com
munity Theatre and continues through
Saturday at 8;30 p.m. with a 2;30 p.m.
Sunday matinee set for Sunday, August 2.
The play will resume for two more show
ings Friday and Saturday, August 7-85 at
8:30 p.m.

SQUARE DANCE FESTIVAL
The Ifi-ghlands Chamber of Commerce
will hold its Ninth Annual Square Dance
Festival on the 3rd and lith of August.
This year the Festival will be held
on txiTO spectacular nights to feature
Clogging Itonday 3rd and Smooth Dancing
Tuesday, August Uth. This event ifill
be held in the High School Gym.

RAIBfATER ESTATE ANTIQUES ON AUCTION
An important collection of antiques
collected by the late Blanche Edmondson
Raint^ater will be sold at auction Sep
tember 9, 10, 11 and 12 at 10 a.m. each
day at "VZtop", the C. V. Rainwater
home which crowns Little Yellow Mountain.
This palatial home has long been a
landmark of Highlands and is reminiscent
of famous Hearst Castle in California.
It is with sadness that those of this
area who remember the Rainwater family
and their interest in the community, see
they iilll no longer occupy the home. How
ever, through the generosity of the
Rainwaters, the residence with its 51
acres, will be donated to the Highlands-
Cashiers Hospital and the Baptist Hos
pital of Pensacola, Florida.
