The date for the ordination and installation of the Pastor, Ray Barfield, has now been set for July 25th 1971 at 5:00 P.M. The congregation is invited to attend this service. An Evangelistic Crusade has been scheduled for August 11-15, 1971. Wednes day through Sunday nights. There was a good response to our appeal for counselors and choir members last Sunday, but we still need your help. If you wish to serve Christ in this way, contact the office at 526-3175* For those who will serve as counselors, there will be a meeting at 8:00 P.M. at the Baptist Church Tuesday the 20th of July. United Methodist Youth Felloi-rship meets at 6 P.M. each Sunday evening. This Sunday, July 18, young people age 10 and above will hike up Sunset Rock for a cook-out. Meet at the church for group departure at 6P.M. Ladies continue to sew on Wednesday afternoons at 2 P.M. for the forthcoming hospital bazaar. Sunday School Morning Worship Church Training Evening Worship SHOULD WE LEGALIZE MARIJUANA This iugDortant question was asked Rotarians at Tuesday’s regular meeting at Phelps House by Walter Resce who has spent a great deal of time researching the subject. In addition to local members 19 visiting Rotarians and 5 guests attended the meeting. Pit*. Resce pointed out that our country is now facing many problems unheard of 20 or 30 years ago, including the widespread use of various forms of drugs by our youth.
