tival will be held at Helen’s Bam in
Highlands on Wednesday nighty August 11
from 8:30 PM until midnight.
This festival is sponsored by the
Highlands Lions Club for the benefit of
their signt conservation fund according
to Mr. Richard Gleis, President of the
club. President Gleis points out that
this fund is used by the local club to
help prevent blindness among our less
fortunate people at the local, state,
and national levels,
Eveiyone is invited to attend this
outstanding special event in Highlands
and the surroimding communities. Door
prizes lall be given away to the lucky
ticket holders and regular square dancing
will be had if time permits,

DR. BAUNRUCKER ARRIVES
Dr. John F, Baumrucker has now en
tered the practice of General jyfedicine
in Highlands.
Dr. Baumrucker received his B.A.
degree from Northwestern University in
1966, He attended the University of
Cincinnati College of i^dicine where he
was granted the Doctor of Medicine de
gree cn June li;, 1971. On June 30, 1971
he completed a one-year internship at
Christ Hospital in Cincinnati,
Dr, and Ite, Baumrucker have just
purchased the former Chevrant home on
Holt Knob where they mil reside with
their three-week old baby daughter.
Dr, Baumrucker's office is located
in the building occupied by C.T, M^gum,
Jr,, H.D,
ANNUAL FASHION SHOW TUESDAY
The i;th Annual Fashion Show for the
benefit of the Highlands-Cashiers Hospit
al will be held at King’s Inn Tuesday,
August 10. This gala evening i-rill be
the setting for the showing of the latest
in men’s and women's fashions, furnished
by the Highlands House of Ifery Norton
Fashions.
