FASHION SHO¥ A SUCCESS
The Dinner and Fashion Show held
last evening at King’s Inn for the benefit
of the Highlands-Cashiers Hospital was
a great s'dccess and was greatly enjoyed
by those who attended^both spectators and
participants. Several who attended said
that this Fashion Shoi'j was the best ever.

throne from among his three sons. Their
mother, and his Queen j Eleanor of Acquit-
aine, favors the oldest son, xdchard, but
Henry wants John, the youngest, to succeed
him. Geoffrey, the son in the middle,
does some wicked plotting of his om to
try and win the coveted crown. King
Phillip of France, and his sister. Princess
Alais, also add to the outrageous intri

FATHER MEBBE HONORED SUNDAY
Members of the Episcopal Church will have
a reception honoring Father and Mrs. Gale
D. Webbe on Sunday, Aug. l5th from 3 to 5
in the church Parish Hall. Highlands area
friends are cordially invite. Father and
Mrs. Webbe will be moving to Arden, N.C.
where he will become Headmaster of Christ
School.

ROBERT CHASTAIN SUCCUUBS
Robert T. Chastain, 56, of liighlands,
died Tuesday morning in a Highlands hos
pital after an illness of five years.
He was a lifelong resident of I'^iacon
C ounty.
Surviving are his wife^, I-'Irs. Eileen
Prince Chastain j a daughter, 2'5rs. Kather
ine Forrester of the homej three sons,
Charles, Neal and Terror Chastain, all of
Highlands5 five brothers, George, Albert
Dan and Henry, all of Highlands and Law
ton Chastain of Columbia, S.C. and two
grandchildren.
Services were held at 2 p.m. Wednes
day in Bryant Funeral Chapel in Highlands
T'dth Rev. Julian Aldridge officiating.
