Once you wear the gold bars of a second
lieutenant in the United States Air Force,
what’s in store for you?
Well, you may fly an aircraft entrusted with a
vital defense mission. Or you may lead a
research team tackling problems on the fron
tier of knowledge. You’ll be helping to run an
organization that’s essential to the safety of
the free world.
Sounds like you'll be called on to shoulder a
good deal of responsibility, doesn’t it?
But when you come right down
to it, that’s what your college
U.S. Air Force
years have been preparing you for. You've
got ability and a good education. Now’s the
time to put them to work!
You’ll have every opportunity to prove your
talents in the Air Force. By doing so, you can
put yourself and your country ahead.
If you’re not already enrolled in ROTC,
you can earn your commission at Air
Force Officer Training School—a three-
month course that’s open to both men
and women college graduates. To apply,
you must be within 210 days
of graduation.
