Campus Pig Pickin ’ Is
Finger Lickin ’ Good
A pig-pickin’ was held on
center campus for all students
and faculty on Wednesday, Oct.

enjoy the fantastic pig and other
goodies. Also a large number of
the faculty and staff were pre
sent for this get-together with
the students.
Chi Alpha Omega Christian
Fraternity along with the ARA
cafeteria sponsored the event.
Karen Jackson’s family from
Spivey’s Corner, N.C., provided
and cooked the pig.
Chi Alpha Omega was estab
lished last year on this campus

hood on campus and in the
community, and to live in a way
to show others the change Jesus
Christ has made in their lives.

Student Senate
Approves Budget
By Steve Moore
The Senate met Thursday,
Oct. 15, to review the 1981-82
budget of the SGA. In pre
senting the budget, Stephan
Dentzer, SGA treasurer, ex
plained that the SGA budget
had been cut about $7,000 since
last year.
Dentzer explained that the
amount of money carried over
from last year was relatively
lower than in previous years. He
also concluded that lower stu
dent enrollment has affected the
amount of student enrollment
fees allocated to the SGA bud-
this year.
The budget cuts have affected
many organizations. Below is
the 1981-82 budget that was
approved by the SGA:
theme for homecoming would
be voted on by the students.
Edwards also reminded the
group about the interest in
renovating the room in the
basement of the old gym into a
game room for the student
body. This is a project which the
SGA has been looking into for
some time and hopes to get
support from campus groups.
The possibility of an Alumni
Day parade was also mentioned.
Sue Hunter, faculty adviser of
the senate, announced that
there will be a Student/Faculty
Auction, Wednesday, Oct. 21 at
7 p.m.
