TRUSTEES Continued From Page 1 individual groups, the trustee board met and reports of the proposed recommendations from the meetings were made. This year was the first time students met with the trustees in a formal meeting. Prior to this year, the oniy contact the students had with the trustees was the cordial smile or passing nod of the head, and maybe a brief conversation. The only existing rapport was between administration and trustees. No opportunities were afforded for an exchange of viewpoints between the students and trustees on the campus situation. One trustee was overheard to comment after the meeting that the students were tired of being told who to go to see; tired of putting things down on paper, they want a voice in what is done concerning them. A POEM FOR NEGRO INTELLECTUALS (if there bes such a thing) &, blackwoman be ahead, moved un-noticed throughout the world, a people deathliving in abstract realities hoping/looking for blk/man-actions from action-livers. & blackmen, action-givers to the world unknow to yr/own will unlike yesterday again be bom into a blk/self. u will move as swift as black d.c. seven or a sharprazors fr/blk/hands swinging among mid-might stars where everything is in place as it was yesterday & yesterday & yesterday it will not be so tomorrow, if we do. US: blackpeople, beautiful people; the sons and daughters of beautiful people, bring it back to US: the unimpossibility, now is the time, the test while there is something to save (other than our lives). We’ll move together hands on weapons & families blending into the sun, into each/other. SUPPORT Continued From Page 4 Tentative plans for fund raising projects are now in the making. Founders’ Day is not all bad, girls; it could be improved, it’s true, but you can’t do that by staying away. It would seem the benefits outweigh the extra two hours of sleep you got that morning. Remember, in order to get anything changed or done, each person interested has an individual responsibility to see that it gets done. THINK ABOUT IT-DO YOUR PART-ACT ON IT!!! THE FATE Continued From Page 2 dress the style that fits the body shape. Just being honest: “Is it better to be so stylish or to look so foolish? Don’t take second glances in the affirmative, always. So, whoever is in charge of the movies, won’t you at least consider what has been said here? Action as soon as possible will be greatly appreciated and enjoyed. How about it?
