Restaurant review THE CRITIC'S CORNER Jambons is jammin Christine Lewis Banner Copy Editor It appears as a flower would, blooming on the first day of Spring. Our facial expressions were probably abnormal, on sight, but considered normal after just hav ing to read some of the names of the dishes at, Jambons Grille & Smokehouse. Jambons "Blooming Onion," is an appetizer that they serve, that with no doubt you want to try it because of its name. This decor would leave you with every bit of anticipation on what was going to be served on the menu. You receive a sense of wil derness with the creative style of Music review decor. At the table, was matchless varieties of sauces and spices cre ated by the Jambons cooks. My eyes got big and jokes flew across the table after just exploring the menu. Creative, although unusual were the pictures of the different animals that can be served as a dish. Starting out the evening with a glass of water and sweet ened tea, was a breeze in mind and in service. After minutes of sweating, 1 decided to get some thing that I had been familiar with in taste and looks. It goes by the name of "Jambons Smokehouse Ham sandwich" with Cheddar witii barbecue beans, waffled fries and a side of spiced rice ($6.95). Grilled and sliced to the bone was the ham. Everything is either grilled, smoked, or blackened at Jambons restaurant and every thing that I had was good. The food is reasonably priced and will most definitely fill you up. The portions of one meal can feed two people. Very friendly and helpful waitresses and wait ers, indeed. Come and enjoy a great meal at Jambons restau rant. Jambons is located on 5513 W.
