Healing Springs had a visitor from Mr, Benson’s office last week in the person of Lee Neaves, who was visiting his father at their home near there. One of the boys from up in the shop was telling me about the efforts of one Jim Lyons, in an attempt to raise pheasants, on his farm on the outskirts of Elkin. We are not sure that we under stand all that this fellow told us about Jim and the pheasants, so we are not going to say anything about it this time. If Jim will be kind enough to give us the details on pheasant raising we will be glad to write them up for the benefit of the 4Va readers of this item. Bright spot around the shop: Curtis Couchs’ smile since they put him on night time.
