The conveyor was installed with the view of making the plant up to date in coal handling equipment, as well as making the job easier for the firemen, who are at the present handling about 30 tons of coal per 24 hours. The new conveyor will do much to relieve the labor of coal handling, saving man power and cost of handling, and will increase the overall efficiency of the boiler plant, allowing the firemen to put in more time on boiler room duties thereby in creasing the boiler room efficiency.
