Pardue and Couch More Numerous Than Brown, Smith and Jones HENRY DOBSON ON COMMITTEE Is Named to Fair Labor Standards Group by Governor Hoey; Is Representative On June 27, Mr. Henry C. Dob son received an appointment from Governor Hoey, to the com mittee on the question of a fair labor standard act for North Carolina. Hon. Forrest H. Shu- ford, Raleigh, is chairman. We rejoice with Mr. Dobson on his appointment and feel sure that he will give his best to this matter. Mr. Dobson was at one time employment manager of our com pany, and is now a representative ^rom Surry county. Names, and why such names are given by parents are always interesting subjects for conver sation and at the same time have become popular subjects for writers of magazine articles. With approximately 2,000 employees working in our organization at the present time, it is not to be expected that all will have such commonplace names as John or James or Mary or Susie.
