NOT HOW MUCH BUT HOW WELL QUALITY FIRST THEN QUANTITY Vol. 4; No. 7 (Second Section) PISGAH FOREST, N. C. (Service Issue) July, 1943 IDT jqwjw MteaAidiiaf OUR NEW HONOR ROLL BOARD, shown above, was recently erected in front of the Cafeteria. At the present time there are around 500 names listed on the board in alphabetical order. As others enter or are called into service, their names will be printed on the board. Ecusta employees who are keeping the home fires burn ing proudly salute these heroes of today. Addresses Of Men In Service Can Be Obtained In Office Realizing that “letters from home” and from other friends in service are just about as “essen tial” to men in service as food and cigarettes, arrangements have been fiiade for Miss Kathleen Ricker to keep in her office a list of all former employees in service and their addresses. Emplojoes are urged to write the men in service, and they may obtain addresses by calling Miss Ricker. Men in service can also obtain this information from Miss Ricker. In order that the addresses may be up-to-date, men in the armed forces or their parents, relatives or friends are asked to notify Miss Ricker of any change of address. The Echo again urges that you write the men in SERVICE! They’ll appreciate it! News Of Ecustans Now In Service Carl Hendricks, an Ecusta Back- tender, has returned from service ®od is now back in the mill. Lt. Charles C. Cook, Jr., an ®custa inspector in the Inspection ^epartment, was recently made Officer in Charge of Gunnery Range at Foster Field, Texas. We glad he is getting along so Well. WE SALUTE OUR 500 MEN AND WOMEN IN SERVICE! The Heroes of America and of the World today are the men in service—the men who are wearing uniforms in the various branches of service—the men who are now being trained to fight and who are fighting on the battlefrorits on land, on sea and in the air to defeat the Dictator nations who would enslave the world. They are the ones who are really making sacrifices—sacrifices in order that freedom and liberty might not perish from the earth and that men everywhere might live as free men. We are proud of former' Ecusta workers who are in service . . . We are doing all that we can here back home to help speed Victory, and to keep the home fires burning. Printed below is as nearly a complete list of our men in service as we have been able to pre pare. We proudly salute every one of them and wish for them the greatest measure of success in the fighting forces. HARRY H. STRAUS, President. Name Employment - Left Branch Present Rank Albert, William W.
