He entered mili tary service in January of this year. Pvt. Sepa- telle was prev iously employed by Ecusta as a member of the Yard Crew. DOCKENS Pvt. Walter M (Pete) Dockins is now stationed in Australia. He was inducted into service Aug. 26, 1942. He took his basic training at Camp Walters, Texas and Ft. Meade, Maryland. He is attached to the Infantry. NEILSON Cpl. C. Douglas Neilson, former Ecusta Electric ian, is with a ser vice squadron ov erseas. He went into service Aug ust 8, 1942, and has been station ed at - M i a m i Beach and St. Petersburg, Fla.; Mission, Texas; and Laurel, Miss. SKINNER Lt. Alfred Lis ter Skinner, for mer Ecusta chem ist who left for military service in March of 1942, is still stationed at Edgewood Ar senal, Maryland, where he has been since he en tered the service. VOLRATH Cpl. Howard L. Volrath, *former Ecusta First Helper, is now somewhere over seas. He left Ecusta for the Army Feb. 1943 and has been (Sta tioned in :^ort Bliss, Texas, since March of this year. DeBRABANT Douglas P. De- Brabant, Seaman, First Class, for mer Ecusta Mill wright, 3rd Class, was awarded in July the Navy Cross. He joined the navy on Jan. 13, 1943 and has been stationed at Great Lakes, 111. and Gulfport, Miss. (Article elsewhere about his award.) MAHAFFEY Lyday. G. Ma- haffey, Seaman, First Class, who is a gunner, is now on sea duty. He took his boot training at Nor folk, Va. Sea man Mahaff ey, former Champag ne Hand Booklet Serviceman, join ed the Navy Nov. 5, 1942. ORR Sgt. Ralph A. Orr, has arrived safely in England. Before entering service, Feb. 3, 1943, Sgt, Orr was a First Help er in the Refin ing Beater Room. He received his training at Camp Santa Anita, Ar cadia, Calif. OWEN Pfc. Ray Owen is stationed at Camp Howze, Texas with the U. S. Army Infan try. Pfc. Owen was previously employed by Ecusta as a Blen der Helper; he went into, service Nov, 11. 1942. WILSON Pfc. Lester C. Wilson, former Champagne Hand Booklet Machine Service man who left for military service Feb. 20, 1943, is now sta tioned at Keesler Field, Miss. Pfc. Wilson is in the Air Corps. SCOTT Pfc. Coleman Scott, is station ed at Fort Bliss, Texas, in the Air borne Division. Pfc. Scott was previously em ployed by Ecusta as a Millwright, Second Class; he went into service January 19, 1943. BUCKNER Pvt. R. Cecil Buckner is with the U. S. Army Engineers some where overseas. He has been sta tioned at Camp Roberts, Califor nia; Camp White, Oregon; Camp Young, Califor nia. Before leav ing in July of 1942, Cecil was an Ecusta Blend er’s Helper. METCALF Carrol G. Met calf is on a Mer chant Marine ship He left Ecusta, where he was a Bleacher Helper, Nov. 30, 1942, to join the Merchant Marine. DRAKE Troy A. Drake, Seaman, Second Class, former Printing Operator in Champagne, has been assigned to a ship and ov erseas duty. Since he left here in July of 1942 he has been station ed at Norfolk, Va. Bedford Springs, Pa. and Washing ton, D. C. For merly in Radio School. BAYNARD Pvt. C. Bruce Baynard, former ly a member of the Ecusta Land scape Crew, is now stationed at Camp Haan, Cal ifornia. Private Baynard left for the Army March 17, 1943. This is the first address the Echo has re- ceived from Bruce. REESE Pvt. J. Dewey Reese, former member of the Ecusta Yard Crew who left for the Army Nov. 11, 1942, is now sta tioned at West Point N. Y. where he says he drives Army trucks. He has been station ed at Camp Croft, S. C. MORGAN Pvt. Mack W. Morgan, Jr. is a member of the Military Police Escort Guard sta tioned at Fort Custer, Michigan. Before entering the service in June of last year. Pvt. Morgan was employed by Ecusta in Slitter Department. RICHARDSON Pvt. Lawrence A Richardson is with the Signal Corps stationed at Nashville, Tenn. Before en tering the service Nov. 20, 1942, he was an Inspector Helper at Ecusta. young Pfc.
