All departments interested in en tering teams for inter-departmen tal games this season will be asked to send representatives to this meeting. It is hoped that enough teams will enter so that it will be pos sible to have an. inter-departmental —Turn To Page Eight It was announced last night that the first classes in the Ecusta Employee’s Children’s Music Pro- jecv would be held in the Cafe teria on Moim'ify,>’SGtOucr lu. More than 60 children have al ready enrolled and they will be placed into classes which will meet in the afternoons after school. Each child will come to the cafe teria only once each week and although for the first few weeks there will be several in each class, this will be for the purptose of teaching them the fundamentals of music. As soon as this preliminary training period is over they will be given private lessons where they will be taught to play the instrument of their choice. Will Be Notified Notices will be sent to all who have applied for instruction telling each child the day and time he is to come for his lesson. A thor ough study of the transportation problem has been made and spe cific instructions will be given each student in regard to the —Turn To Page Sixteeai Men Bowl Monday Nights; Women On Wednesday Nights. Teams Given The 1944-1945 season of the Ecusta Bowling League opened on Wednesday night, September 27th, with six teams of the men’s ten pin league, competing. The open ing meet was postponed from Mon day to Wednesday in order that the work being done on the alleys could be completed. All of the games will be played on the Centennial alleys in Bre vard which have just been recon ditioned and are in excellent shape for bowling. There are seven teams in the men’s league this season and the teams are: Refining Room, Con trol, .Pulp Mill, Champagne, Ma chine Room, Office and Mainte nance. In the girl’s duck pin league there are six teams as follows: Office, Champagne Stars, Cham pagne Pin Setter’s Delight, Finish ing, Control and Endless Belt. The girl’s league will have their first meet on Wednesday night, October 4th, and will play every Wednes day night thereafter. The men will bowl for 28 weeks and the girls for 20 weeks. Because of the un even number of teams in the men’s league it will be necessary for one team to drop out each week. The results of the games Wed nesday night were as follows: Champagne defeated the Pulp Mill —Turn To Page Sixteen Thursday Picture Shows Will Start v-r Beginning on Thursday night October 5th, the regular picture shows in the cafeteria will start 8-30 o’clock. With the coming of fall and short er days, many Ecustans have asked that the pictures begin earlier so that they may get home earlier. Much interest has been shown in the picture shows and an ex cellent schedule of films has been booked for October. There will be both entertainment pictures as well as war pictures and the serial.
