Nearly 1,000 exhibits of fresh fruits and vege tables, canned products and flowers wejre entered in the Victory Garden Display and the event was climaxed by an address by Gov. Gregg Cherry. Pictures of some of the outstanding exhibits are shown on these pages, as well as photos of the speakers and the crowd. At tiie top, center, are Mr. and Mrs. S. R. Harrington who carried off all of the Sweepstakes prizes. The first three pictures at the right are the winners of the Company’s best garden contest. They are first, Mr. and Mrs. Gus Bostic; sec ond, Mrs. Paul Roberts and third, Mr. and Mrs. James Brennan. 1 I 1 % A I
