The prime purpose of this little I news sheet. The Sports News, is to keep our sports minded personnel informed as to the actual happen-1 ings concerning basketball games, bowling results, ping pong news, etc. The Sports News will be edit-1 ed and mailed on Friday of each! week to those personnel who show a definite desire to receive such I a publication. Those persons who fall to receive a copy will be asked to have their name placed on the Sports Nefws mailing list. In-.case you are Interested in receiving I your copy each week please con-1 tact the Athletic department at I 219. No charges are attached to| such a request. Please bear in mind that the I Sports News is a brand new pub lication and naturally there will be mistakes made. Therefore, the Sports News’ staff will welcome I any constructive criticism. Control Cardinals Office “A” Ecusta Now Tied - For First Place In Bowling League I Three victories over the West ern Produce company last Tuesday night enabled our Ecusta Bowling team to jump into a first place tie | with the Enka team. Led by Cap- ain Walter Sraus, Ecusta amassed! a total of 2708 pins to sweep all three games. Close behind Walter’s 576 set was Chris Rogers’ 563 and | Clyde Galloway’s 537. Charlie Col well’s 516 and Ralph Morris’ 5141 brought out total to the 2708 set Next week Ecusta bowls the Champion “Y” of Canton, and the following week we will be pitted | against Enka.
