Luckman, chairman of the citi zens food committee. Menus at the cafeteria on Tues days have been planned in accord ance with the government’s re quest for meatless Tuesdays while poultryless Thursdays are being observed. The drive is voluntary, but the nationwide response has been encouraging. We know that all Ecustans can be counted on to cooperate with the food-saving drive in their homes. The campaign is designed to provide food for the hungry and starving people of Europe. If the splendid displays at the Harvest Festival in September are an indication, employees of our companies have ample sup plies of foods to enable them to make a real contribution to the food conservation program. dispatch from Lafayette, Bud’s sis ter, Mrs, Vinton Soden of Los An geles, was en route to Chicago where Mrs. Taylor was meeting the plane.
