When you see such a clean and well-kept church as the Little
River Baptist, you say to yourself, "Here’s a church that cer
tainly must have a pastor who is on his toes and a membership
that takes great pride in making its place of worship attractive
and comfortable.”
And this impression is correct.
The only church in this progressive farm community, the Bap
tist church, under the leadership of Rev. F. M. Barnes, is moving
ahead—expanding its Sunday School plant, reaching more peo
ple and, in general, doing a fine work. The church, with a mem-
