ON THE COVER
"School days, school days, dear old golden rule
days,” is the No. 1 song on the hit parade of
youngsters everywhere this month as the trek back
to classrooms was resumed. Only memories remain
of those carefree summer days which fled by so
fast. For the next eight or nine months, youngsters
will be surrounded with an environment of
books, paper and paste, and all the other items
that are a part of school life.
Our cover picture was taken at beautiful Pisgah
Forest school where many children of Ecustans
attend classes. Miss Annie Patton is principal, a
position she has held for many years.
