Left, Joseph Battista, concert pianist who ivas the featur e-artist on Stmday, August 22, ad mires the talent of 12 year old Ryan Edwards, a music camp student who is already compos ing. One of Ryan’s compositions was play ed by the camp orches tra at one of the sum mer concerts. Battista, only 25 himself, is recognized as one of the outstanding young pianists in the country. I MUSIC FESTIVAL Lower left, Mary Bothwell, soprano, thrilled the audience on Saturday night, August 21, with her Wagnerian renditions. She is shoiun with Di rector James Christian Pfohl in a picture taken after the concert. Right, Frances Yeend, also a soprano, sang Friday night, Atigust 21, and like the other artists appearing on the Festival pro gram, was called back time and again for encores. I
