iM. A R C H E R Y The interest in atchery among employees and their children has creased so much in re cent months that O. K. Smathers, of the Main tenance Department, has started archery classes at Camp Sap phire. O. K. has been an archery enthu siast since he wa: twelve years old h e i s a member of the Asheville Archery Club, which is associated with the National Archery Association, and he took second place honors at the Bent Creek Turkey shoot last year; so he is well qualified as an archery instructor. He now has fourteen members in the adult classes, which meets on Thursday afternoons at 4:30, and ten members in the junior class, which meets on Saturday mornings at 10:00. O. K. says that archery is not an expensive hobby, and he urges all who are interested to attend these classes. He makes most of his equipment in his workshop at home which is much cheaper than buying factory-made equip ment. The young "William Tells” are showing „ great deal of improvement and enthusiasm in the Saturday classes, and they will soon be hitting the "bulls eye” along with the adult members. top is Mary Sue Jennings of the Physical Laboratory, and Harry Ballard of the Main tenance Department. the in- , y 10
