Our Ecusta Bowling team of the WNC League
rode the victory wagon for six consecutive weeks
before meeting defeat, at the hands of the Dr.
Pepper team. The team has won fifteen out of
twenty-one games bowled in the past seven
weeks. Our keglers are in seventh place and nine
games behind the League leading Pisgah Motor
Court five.
The Pisgah Motor Court team took over first
place in the League on Tuesday night, March
21st, pushing the Standard Supply team out of
the lead for the first time since November.
Should our team do as well in the last twenty-
one games to go as in the previous twenty-one, it

should move into the first division of the stand
ings possibly pushing for one of the top four
positions of the League.
The following is a resume of our team’s
matches played on March 7th, 14th and 21st.
Charles Colwell led the team’s two game victory
over the Shamrock Cleaners on Tuesday night,
March 7th, with a 560 set. Clyde Galloway had a
557, Walter Straus a 539, Lewis Meece a 529
and John Emory a 472 pin set.
