REFINING NEWS
By Jack Rhodes
Take notice all you fisher
men!! You may now stop
your moaning and groaning
due to the fact that the big
fish got away. Enno Camen-
zind has a fool proof solution
to your problem, if you don’t
bc-lieve it try it for yourself.
All you have to do is to go to Pawley’s Island,
South Carolina, on your five days off or even
your vacation and catch all the big fish you wish,
we have the live proof of it; just ask Camenzind
when you see him.
If any of you readers have any stale cigars at
home that you would like to dispose of, please
do not throw them away, give them to Burgin Kil
patrick. Any donations will be appreciated.
Many of our employees have taken vacations
since the last issue of The Echo, which makes it
practically impossible to give in detail where each
person vacationed, but our primary concern is
with Markley Jones who has the week of October
15th off. Will he or will he not kill a bear?? Read
our article in the next issue of The Echo. Confi
dentially someone told me that he could not hit
the side of a barn with a shotgun, he did take a
rifle didn’t he? ?
Several of our employees and families attended
the Duke-Tennessee game, all reported a grand
time even tho’ the score was out of balance.
Clarence Nicholson can get more game with
his automobile accidentally than most of these
hunters can get on purpose, isn’t that so Clarence??
Frank Patton keeps talking about Florida, must
be a vacation coming up. All birds take notice in
the deep south: Fly North where it is cool, be
cause Patton may not hit you but he might be
able to come so close that it would be too hot
for comfort.
