The two youngsters above are the children of Mr.
and Mrs. Homer Blythe. Linda Kay is 3V2 years
old and Steve is 7 months old. Homer is employed
in the Film Division Maintenance Department.
Dam recently. They brought back some unusual
pictures of their catch.
Does anyone recognize the day-aisle chow call
—"Come on Georgie”.
"Shorty” Roberts has bought another car. This
one is so long it is hinged in the middle for
curves.
Albert Arnette is planning to paint his car some
other color, so people won’t follow him looking
for a fire.
Some foreign names found in North Carolina
are: Belgrade, Belfast, Cairo, Naples, Quebec,
Japan, China Grove, Holland, Alaska, Scotland,
Arabia and Burma.

This month has been va
cation time for some of the
fellows.
Jack Fenwick toured the
State of Florida.
John Parker also vacationed
in Florida. He visited rela
tives down Frostproof way.
Cleaves Johnson went to Ohio on his vacation,
Jim Furr looked as if he had been vacationing
for a couple of days. That sure was a fine case of
poison ivy, Jim.
Burt McCall is said to have gone into the chick
en business. Clarence West is helping him with
it at every opportunity.
All the fellows on "D” shift want to take their
vacation the day Frank Blaylock returns from the
annual ramp eating convention.
The softball season is off to a grand start.
Everyone is enjoying it this year.
J. C. Higgings and Howard Tiger have been
doing some car trading.
Jim Winget has been tieing some of what he
calls Kenny Hackles—they couldn’t have been
made of live-bait could they, Jim.
Hubert Bryson, Ernie Maney, Henry Purgeson
and Bob McGuire took a fishing trip to Fontana
SHEETING AND SHIPPING

Charlie and Eugene have a new haircut that is
guaranteed to cure a "water-logged” brain.
Jeanie is all prettied up these days for a trip to
North Greenville. Kadez. should be very proud of
you.
Tommy and Bob spent the weekend in Chero
kee recently. (It was their second honeymoon.)
Seems that "Bit” Masters is contemplating a
trip to S. C, What’s the matter. Bit?
Happy Birthday to "Mickey” Tinsley. She says
she is only one year older than she was this time
last year.
Our sincere sympathy to Ellis Revis in the re
cent death of his father.
Glad to report that Becky is feeling much better
and is able to be back to work after her illness.
We are sorry to loose Willie D. She is now de
voting all of her time to being a housewife and
mother. Willie, we are really missing you.
Seems that the sheeting and shipping area is
almost like a recruiting center. Here today, gone
tomorrow . . . We have lost Bill Paris to Slitting,
and gained the following new fellows; Robert
Miller, Thomas Heath, Franklin Nanney, Grady
Ashe, James (Silent Sam) Schreiber, and Walter
Clark.
We are glad to welcome Inez McDaniels who
transferred from Finishing—Paper Division.
Ralph had to leave us for a half-day. Said he
had to bury a cow that barely died.
Wonder if the new spring fashions have any
thing to do with Bill H. and Jack K.’s daily trips
to the scales.
Congratulations are in store for Troy W. and
"Sinbad”. Thanks for the candy, fellows.
