cational, or personal guidance then
the person for you to see is Mrs.
W. Bryon Carter who is the Di
rector of Personal Guidance here
at the college. It won’t be easy
finding her though, since teaching
courses is enough to keep any per
son moving. Of course, your fac
ulty advisors could be of great
help but Mrs. Carter is better
qualified to do this.
Mrs. Carter received her Mast
er’s Degree in the field of Per
sonnel and Guidance from the
University of North Carolina.

cers were elected by the student
body and Sophomore classes re
spectively at meetings held in the
assembly hall last week. Ralph
Bansbach, President of the stu
dent body presided at the meet
ing.
Charlie Johnson was chosen as
President of the Sophomore class,
while Bob Armstrong was elected
to head the Upper Classmen. Bet
ty Ann Bishop and Dick Powers
wei'e selected for Secretary and
Treasurer respectively.
Joseph 0. Joyner is the Vice-
president for the 1949-50 term.
Helen Dickerson was elected Sec
retary to the student body; Gwen
dolyn Dalton was elected to the
position of Assistant Secretary;
for Treasurer the group chose
Frank Bell and for Assistant
Treasurer Robert Armstrong.
Bill Bryant, Patricia Allen, and
Paul Lovingood were chosen to
represent the Freshman class on
the Student Council.
Representatives to the Student
Council for che Sophomore class
and the Freshman class officers
will be elected in the near future.
A. Moser Entertains

Mr. Artus Moser, well known
folk song enthusiast for the W. N.
C. area, entertained the Govern
ment Employees’ Club members
