Staff Photographer - Paul Goodman EDITORIAL This week I should like to put a question before the students of this college. First, why can’t we have better attendance at our foot ball games, and secondly, why can’t those people who DO attend cheer for our team ? Is it that you are ashamed for people to know that you go to Asheville-Biltmore? We have a college that we can be very proud of and a football team that is representing that college very well. Those boys are out there fighting and fighting hard to do just that. Yet, they have little support from the students. Can we rightfully go about speaking of OUR football team, when at game time the story is quite a different one. How can we expect those boys to get out there and play enthus iastically if they don’t have a group cheering enthusiastically, Saturday is Homecoming Day. Let’s show each and every boy on that team that we are with them on every play, that win or lose we are proud of our team. Also, let’s respect our school enough to stand when the alma mater is sung. We of the Campus Crier staff say “thank you” for the way you received our first issue of the year. We know that we omitted a lot of newsworthy events, but with fhe confusion of beginning a new year, some articles were overlooked. However, we shall sincerely try to keep you abreast of the activities connected with the college. Please, send in your announcements for our paper, especially dates and places of club meetings. 2
