PIANIST
ENTERTAINS
The grey stone walls and oak panels
of Seely Hall resounded to the music
of Bach, Beethoven and Chopin as our
young guest pianist entertained at as
sembly April 12.
At the age of seventeen, Eunice Way-
mon, student at Allen School for col
ored girls, is already an accomplished
musician. After completing this school
year, she plans to continue her study
at Juliard School of Music in New
York.
This may be the beginning of a col
orful career for this young native of
Tryon, N. C., and with her go our best
wishes for success, and a hope she will
return and play for us again someday.
Don’t go out on a limb like Chop Chop.
Vote for Enloe.
For Freedom of Speech in Student
Government—Vote Reformists.
Choo Choo went all the way many
times but one time is all Enloe needs
for a score.
Our candidates are Quentin Enloe,
President; Helen Dickerson, Vice-
President; Ruby Herring, Secretary;
and Bill Bryant, Treasurer.
From some scattered signs I see we
have opposition, but for really BIG
doings watch the Speech Department.
Monday is the day. Watch our window
for further notice.
